Sir Arthur Jarvis Archibong, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Cross River State, challenged anyone with evidence of criminal wrongdoing against him to make it public. He stated that his campaign would focus on issues and development rather than personal attacks, criticizing the state government's performance in infrastructure and human development. Archibong also alleged a plan to deploy cult groups to incite violence before, during, and after the 2027 elections.
