I declined invite to opposition summit in Ibadan — Sowore

Omoyele Sowore, the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC) in the 2023 elections, declined an invitation to the National Opposition Summit in Ibadan, describing it as an attempt by entrenched political figures to rebrand themselves without accountability for past failures. He stated that the AAC would not be part of what he termed a political charade aimed at recycling failed politicians. Sowore emphasized that Nigeria's political challenges require a decisive break from existing structures.
