I left enough money to clear Anambra debts if any

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), stated he left enough money in Anambra State's coffers to settle any remaining debts. He responded to claims by Chukwuma Soludo's administration that he took out several loans as governor. Obi said there was sufficient funds to cover any debts, maintaining that the state was financially stable when he left office.
