Controversial Lagos nightlife entrepreneur Mike Nwogu, known as Pretty Mike, disclosed that he spent over N100 million renovating his nightclub, Proxy Lagos, after a nine-month closure due to a raid by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency. He stated that the renovation was essential to enhance customer experience and reposition the business. Despite financial challenges, he managed to stay afloat through multiple income streams and support from family and business associates.
