"I want a detailed report": Bassirou Diomaye Faye pressures one of his ministers in a difficult position

President Bassirou Diomaye Faye has asked the Minister of Land Transport, Yankhoba Diémé, to produce a comprehensive report on the constraints facing the road transport sector, currently disrupted by a strike. He emphasized the importance of dialogue with transport stakeholders to establish a sustainable pact and stressed the need to modernize transport management and renew the vehicle fleet. Faye also called for optimal road control and strict adherence to the Highway Code.
