‘I was misled' - Kenneth Okonkwo makes U-turn on Peter Obi’s debt record

Kenneth Okonkwo, a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), said he was misled when he defended Peter Obi, the Nigerian presidential candidate, over claims that he left debts as governor of Anambra State. He stated he can no longer stand by his previous statements after receiving new information from the Anambra State Government. Okonkwo, who is the spokesperson for the ADC presidential campaign council for Atiku Abubakar in 2027, emphasized that he always changes his position when new facts come to light.
