‘I will sleep in Akwa Ibom tonight,’ Tinubu declares

President Bola Tinubu said he would spend Friday night in Akwa Ibom State, calling it a “second term presidential sleep” and expressing confidence about winning re-election in 2027. Speaking at a rally in his honour at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, he thanked residents for their support and urged them to vote for him. He encouraged eligible residents who had not collected their Permanent Voter Cards to do so. Tinubu also pledged continued investment in infrastructure, education, skills training and job creation.
