CAF Champions League: Rivers United grab crucial away draw against San Pedro

Rivers United held San Pedro to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of their CAF Champions League first preliminary round tie at the Laurent Pokou Stadium. San Pedro took the lead through Issouf Dosso in the 56th minute, but substitute Iyowuna Douglas equalised for Rivers United in the 69th minute. The reverse fixture will take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo next Sunday.
