IAD endorses Obi, claims 25% of voters in 31 states

The Igbo Agenda Dialogue (IAD) endorsed Peter Obi of the Nigeria Democratic Congress for Nigeria’s January 16, 2027 presidential election. In Abuja, its national chairman, Chief Chekwas Okorie, claimed that Igbo people make up at least 25% of voters in 31 states and the Federal Capital Territory, and more than 99% in the five South-East states. He also recalled historic Igbo political alliances, including the NCNC’s coalition with the NPC and the NPP’s alliance with the NPN.
