Tambacounda: 19-year-old herdsman sentenced to 2 years in prison for injuring his mother

Seydou Dieng, a 19-year-old herdsman from Tambacounda, was sentenced to 2 years in prison, with 1 month ferme, for injuring his mother Faty Seck with a machete while under the influence of alcohol. The attack occurred after a dispute near a well, and the mother received medical treatment with a 21-day incapacity. The family apologized, but the court upheld the prosecutor's request despite the defense's plea.
