Africa: New 'Blockbuster' Tuberculosis Vaccines Could Save Seven Million Lives by 2050

New tuberculosis vaccines, expected to be available from 2029, could save up to 7.3 million lives between 2030 and 2050 and generate up to $135 billion in economic benefits for low- and middle-income countries. Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, emphasizes the need for immediate action to ensure sufficient and affordable supply in high-burden countries.
