IGP and NBA president move to end police-lawyer clashes

Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Rilwan Disu and Nigerian Bar Association President Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya agreed to strengthen professional collaboration to reduce clashes between lawyers and police. Badejo-Okusanya proposed specialized training for lawyers and having a police lawyer at every station to assist children in the juvenile justice system. Disu emphasized the need for effective communication between both professions to improve access to justice.
