IGP directs tighter security around schools in Katsina

The Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, has directed the Katsina Police Command to strengthen security around schools in the state. DIG Sulaiman Abdul conveyed the mandate during a two-day operational tour, during which he assessed the security of selected schools, including the Police Children School and the Government Girls Technical and Commercial College in Charanchi. He inspected perimeter fencing, access control points, and security posts, and urged administrators to enforce strict access control and promptly report suspicious activities.
