IGP Disu proposes dedicated police desk for creative economy

Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, proposed the establishment of an Orange Economy Security and Intellectual Property Coordination Desk within the Nigeria Police Force. During a lecture, he emphasized the importance of protecting creative sectors such as film, music, and fashion to enhance employment and national development. Disu also advocated for an intelligence-led approach to combat piracy and counterfeiting.
