IGP not opposed to citizens recording police officers - Media aide

The Nigeria Police Force clarified that Inspector-General of Police Olatunji Disu is not opposed to citizens recording police officers while on duty. Media Officer Aliyu Giwa emphasized that Disu's concern is about the misuse of such recordings, especially when they are turned into social media content. Giwa also stressed that police officers retain their rights to dignity and privacy, even while in uniform.
