Ilaje community rejects proposed Dangote industrial city, accepts Olokola FTZ

The Aheri Development Council in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo State has decided to accept the Olókòlá Free Trade Zone while rejecting the proposed Dangote Industrial City. Secretary Ayeoba Ige Asemudara expressed concerns over the exclusion of host communities from the Technical Committee set up by the Ondo State Government. He also noted that the community's lands are being invaded by outsiders due to an unspecified government land acquisition.
