“I’ll sleep in Akwa Ibom tonight” – Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu said he would spend the night in Akwa Ibom State, calling his visit a “second term presidential sleep” and expressing confidence about winning re-election in 2027. Speaking at a rally at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Friday, he thanked his supporters and urged eligible voters to collect their voter cards. He reiterated promises to improve living conditions and infrastructure, expand education and skills training, and create jobs. His remarks followed criticism from Nigeria Democratic Congress presidential candidate Peter Obi, who had questioned whether Tinubu had spent nights in states outside Abuja and Lagos.
