“I’m going to buy a CD”: Sunday Oliseh recounts how he met his Moroccan wife

Former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh recounted in an interview with The Play Zone how he met Hafida, his Moroccan wife, in 1994. He had gone to Tong, about 30 minutes from his home, to buy CDs during the summer. As he browsed R&B music, Hafida arrived on a bicycle and stopped because it was raining. Oliseh told her, “How come you’re this beautiful?” The couple have two children, Denzel and Shanice.
