IMF ranking: These ECOWAS countries are outperforming Côte d’Ivoire in 2026

IMF projections published in October 2026 rank Côte d’Ivoire fourth among ECOWAS countries with available forecasts, with growth expected to reach 6% in 2026. Guinea leads at 7.2%, followed by Benin and Niger at 7% each. The IMF forecasts growth of 6.1% for Côte d’Ivoire in 2027, following 6.5% in 2025. Ghana, Mali and the other ranked countries have lower 2026 forecasts, while Senegal is not ranked because projections for 2026 and 2027 were not published.
