Imo West: South-East youths congratulate Okorocha and urge Uzodimma to respect the ruling

The South-East Youths Stakeholders Forum congratulated Rochas Okorocha after a Federal High Court recognized him as the winner of the APC senatorial primary for Imo West ahead of the 2027 elections. Justice Obiora Egwuatu ordered Governor Hope Uzodimma to stop presenting himself as the party’s candidate and directed the APC to submit Okorocha’s name to electoral commission INEC. The forum urged INEC to implement the ruling and called on Uzodimma and his supporters to respect it and pursue reconciliation. It also urged APC leaders in Imo State to overcome their differences and reaffirmed its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and APC candidates.
