Implement disability law before leaving office – Ogun PWDs beg Abiodun

The Joint National Association of Persons with Disabilities (JONAPWD) and the Spinal Cord Injuries Association of Nigeria (SCIAN) urged Governor Dapo Abiodun to fully implement Ogun State's Disability Law before his tenure ends in eight months. Signed in 2017 by former Governor Amosun, the law remains unimplemented after nearly nine years. The groups emphasized that the lack of enforcement harms persons with disabilities in education, healthcare, transportation, employment, and political participation, calling for immediate action.
