Improve service quality or face sanctions, FG warns MTN, Airtel, Glo

The Federal Government of Nigeria has warned telecom operators, including MTN, Airtel, and Glo, to improve service quality or face sanctions. Minister of Communications, Dr. Bosun Tijani, stated that recent reforms have stabilized the sector, removing excuses for poor network performance. Investments in infrastructure, supported by the World Bank, are planned to transform connectivity in Nigeria over the next two to five years.
