In 2025, the tertiary sector recorded a growth of 4.3%, reinforcing its role as the engine of the Cameroonian economy with a contribution of 2.2 points to GDP. Information and communication services experienced strong growth of 10.3%, while financial services grew by 9.2%. In comparison, the primary and secondary sectors contributed 0.3 points and 0.6 points to GDP, respectively.
