In the village of Kiperesa in northern Tanzania, over 12,000 residents now have access to reliable clean water thanks to the World Bank-financed Sustainable Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Program (SRWSSP). Previously, women like Hawa Selemani walked up to five hours to fetch water.
