Wildfire smoke in Canada caused severe air pollution in Toronto, turning the sky orange. Despite the poor air quality, some residents continue to enjoy parks while others wear masks. A heat alert is in effect with temperatures reaching 33°C, near the record for July 15. Authorities canceled outdoor children's activities and opened cooling centers; Environment Canada expects improvement only after Friday.
