India to face Pakistan in Asian Games men’s cricket final

India defeated a second-string Sri Lanka team by 124 runs at the Asian Games to qualify for the men's cricket gold medal match against rivals Pakistan, their first-ever meeting at the continental event. India’s Shreyas Iyer’s team dismissed Sri Lanka for 45 in 9.5 overs after setting a target of 170. Pakistan also advanced to the final after a six-wicket win over Bangladesh, with Sufyan Moqim taking 3-26. The final will be the first time India and Pakistan face each other in men's cricket at the Asian Games.
