Flights have been suspended at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport near Jakarta due to increased eruptive activity from Mount Anak Krakatau, located over 150 km away. Eruptions have been recorded, producing ash up to 6,000 meters high and a plume reaching 15,000 meters. The flight suspension was extended after volcanic ash was detected at the airport, affecting 33 flights, including 16 international cancellations.
