INEC declares APM’s Adamu Yakubu winner of Sakwa bye-election in Bauchi

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Adamu Yakubu of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) the winner of the Sakwa bye-election in Bauchi State. Meanwhile, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has won bye-elections in Kano, Bauchi, and Gombe. Growing concerns are emerging among the opposition regarding threats from APC leaders as the 2027 presidential elections approach.
