INEC final list confirms Yahaya Bello as APC candidate for Kogi Central

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released its final list of candidates for the Kogi Central, Kogi East, and Kogi West senatorial districts, confirming Yahaya Bello as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Kogi Central seat. At 51 years old, Bello is competing against ten other candidates, including incumbent Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Despite doubts about his eligibility, he won the APC primary with 72,399 votes, far ahead of his rivals.
