INEC fixes Sept 19 for by-elections in 4 states

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has scheduled September 19 for five by-elections in four states: Gombe, Kano, Bauchi, and Delta. The Chief Press Secretary to the INEC chairman, Mr. Tunde Oketola, stated that the by-elections will include one federal and four state constituencies. The federal election will occur in the Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency, while state elections will take place in Disina and Sakwa in Bauchi, and Udu and Dawakin Kudu in Delta and Kano.
