INEC trains Yobe stakeholders on electoral risk management ahead of 2027 elections

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Yobe State held an electoral risk management sensitisation workshop on Monday ahead of the 2027 general elections. Participants included security personnel, National Orientation Agency (NOA) officials, media practitioners and Electoral Officers from the state’s 17 local government areas. Resident Electoral Commissioner Alhaji Abubakar Ahmed Ma’aji urged them to identify risks specific to Yobe and develop sustainable mitigation plans, stressing proactive planning and collaboration. The NOA pledged continued support through public awareness and mobilisation efforts to promote peaceful elections.
