Influx of displaced persons fleeing fighting between FARDC and AFC/M23 in Walikale

The chief of the Waloa Loanda group, Mafuluko Mwiyanya, calls for urgent intervention from Congolese authorities due to the massive influx of displaced persons fleeing fighting in the Ufamandu I and II groups. He reports that his area is exposed to clashes between AFC/M23 rebels and FARDC, with eight injured already recorded in Busurungi. Mwiyanya also requests increased support from FARDC and Wazalendo to restore peace in the region.
