Insecurity: How we recovered over 500,000 hectares of farmland from bandits - Kaduna Govt

The Kaduna State Government has recovered over 500,000 hectares of farmland through community-based security strategies. Commissioner for Information, Ahmed Maiyaki, stated that the security situation has improved, allowing farmers to return to their lands. The agricultural budget allocation has also increased from N1.4 billion in 2023 to over N100 billion in 2026, with investments in transportation infrastructure and the provision of free fertilizers.
