Inside the second Mchunu raid: Warrant targeted phones identified by numbers and IMEIs

The second police raid linked to suspended Police Minister Senzo Mchunu targeted at least six devices, including cellphones and an iPad, identified by phone numbers, IMEI numbers, and usage periods. Only one phone was confiscated during the raid authorized by the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg, as part of an investigation into corruption, fraud, and obstructing justice. The warrant, issued under the Cybercrimes Act, also involves other suspects such as Deputy Police Commissioner Sibiya and individuals accused of corruption and cartel activities.
