Inspection finds policing gaps at Kempton Park and Tembisa SAPS

Parliament’s Police Committee Chair Ian Cameron questioned whether sufficient resources are reaching the stations, despite the government's recent announcement of increased police visibility through Operation Shanela. Cameron noted no visible signs of this increase during his visit, with Kempton Park station in darkness and delays in generator delivery, and Tembisa operating with fewer detectives and limited patrol vehicles.
