Insurance crisis: Fire, floods and the growing fight for billions in payouts

Britind Industries also fought for 10 years to get Sh58.6 million after a fire in 2015. Tom Gichuhi, CEO of the Association of Kenya Insurers, stated that delays in claim settlements are often due to the complexity of claims and differing interpretations of insurance policies.
