Intense mobility and population denial accelerate Ebola spread in Haut-Uele (governor)

The governor of Haut-Uele, Jean Bakomito Gambu, stated that intense mobility of traders in mining areas and population denial are accelerating the spread of Ebola in the province. The disease now affects 37 health zones in the DRC. Mining areas like Nyanza and Wamba facilitate transmission, while some residents reject health measures, calling the disease a 'setup'.
