Intensify fight against insecurity - Ooni charges government

The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, called on the Federal Government to intensify efforts to tackle insecurity, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities as Nigerians celebrated Democracy Day. He noted that insecurity threatens peace and development and urged citizens to be patient. He called for strengthening the security architecture, intelligence gathering, proper equipping of security agencies, and prosecution of perpetrators.
