Interfaith Dialogue: The Pope in Annaba and the Great Mosque of Algiers

On his second day in Algeria, Pope Leon XIV visited Annaba, the birthplace of Saint Augustine. He celebrated a mass at the Basilica of Saint Augustine and spoke about the legacy of the theologian and the religious martyrs of Algeria. The day before, he delivered a speech at the Basilica of Notre-Dame d'Afrique, a place where Christians and Muslims coexist, emphasizing the importance of interfaith dialogue.
