Internal Security: Changes Coming for Senegal's National Police

Senegal's Minister of Interior, Mouhamadou Makhtar Cissé, announced a special program to improve working and living conditions for the police, including building better commissariats, increasing housing options, and establishing a level 3 hospital for police officers. He visited several sites in Dakar, such as Camp Abdou Diassé, the Polyvalent Intervention Brigade, the Air and Border Police Directorate, the medical service, and the Mobile Intervention Group. The program must be approved by the Prime Minister and the President before implementation.
