International retirement of Seko Fofana: "I didn't try to hold him back, but...", Hervé Renard keeps the door open

Seko Fofana announced his international retirement from the Ivory Coast at the age of 31, after 34 caps and 7 goals. He expressed pride in representing his country and decided to focus on his club career. Ivory Coast coach Hervé Renard stated that he did not try to hold Fofana back but left the door open for a possible return.
