Mame Diarra Thiam, known as “Diodio Glow Skin,” has been charged and placed under electronic monitoring, but new checks by the Special Cybersecurity Division could worsen her legal situation. The judge at the Pikine-Guédiawaye court is seeking to establish the origin and use of funds described as donations, including whether they were used to pay internet users to target people on TikTok. Several interviews are expected, and two people who communicated with Rokhaya Fall, known as “Rox la chancelière,” have reportedly been summoned. The case raises the possibility of money laundering, which carries a sentence of three to seven years in prison and a fine of up to three times the funds involved in Senegal, subject to the facts established.
