Investigation finds fire at singer Aby Ndour’s restaurant was deliberate

An investigation by Point E police concluded that the fire that ravaged Aby’s Garden, singer Aby Ndour’s restaurant on the Corniche Ouest, was deliberate rather than caused by an electrical short circuit. People connected to the case, including the singer and her employees, are expected to be questioned. The fire broke out around 6 a.m. on August 9 and destroyed much of the restaurant’s equipment before firefighters arrived.
