Investigations, criminal prosecution still ongoing in Stone Rockers quarry– NSCDC Mining Marshals

The Mining Marshals of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) stated that the Stone Rockers quarry site in Abuja was shut down due to an ongoing criminal investigation. The quarry's director, Mr. Kolawole Olaiya, is on trial for illegal mining activities within a mineral title area legally belonging to Lord’s Career Ventures Nigeria Limited. The investigations were initiated following petitions submitted by the complainant company, and the site will remain closed until the Federal High Court's decision.
