INYC Calls for decentralization of pipeline surveillance contract

The Itsekiri National Youth Council (INYC) has urged the Federal Government to urgently decentralize the pipeline surveillance contract currently managed by Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited. National president Comrade Appearance Afejuke noted that the monopolization of surveillance operations risks alienating other critical stakeholders, particularly host communities. Decentralizing the contract would empower indigenous youths and strengthen community participation for sustainable security in the Niger Delta.
