Iran: A member of Jaish al-Adl executed for attacks against military personnel

The Iranian judiciary executed Amer Ramesh, sentenced to death for his affiliation with the Sunni jihadist group Jaish al-Adl and for armed attacks against security forces in southeastern Iran. Ramesh was arrested during an anti-terror operation in Chabahar County, and his conviction was upheld by the Supreme Court. Jaish al-Adl, classified as a terrorist organization, operates in Sistan-Baluchestan province and claims to defend the rights of the Baluch Sunni minority.
