Iran: Arrest of lawyer Amirsalar Davoudi after a prison marriage

Iranian lawyer Amirsalar Davoudi was arrested on Sunday while attending a court hearing in Isfahan, defending inmate Mahshad Kashani. He had helped organize the prison marriage of Kashani and Alireza Sepahi, who was executed in October for his involvement in January protests. His arrest reflects the increasing crackdown on human rights defenders in Iran, especially those handling political and sensitive cases. Davoudi, known for defending several protesters, has gone missing following his detention.
