According to US media reports, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) allegedly assisted in leading an offensive in western Yemen, consolidating Houthi control over the Bab al-Mandeb Strait and the port city of Mocha. Iranian authorities have denied direct involvement, emphasizing the Houthis' independence, and described their recent advances as a 'divine triumph'. President Pezeshkian also rejected any connection between Iran and Houthi actions in an interview.
