The World Health Organization has released USD 800,000 from its Contingency Fund for Emergencies to support the health response in Iran over a three-month period. This funding aims to sustain essential health services and restore critical infrastructure as the health system faces strain after weeks of hostilities. Since February 28, 2,362 people have been killed and 32,314 injured, with 118 health workers injured and 25 killed.
