Iran judiciary urges courts to 'speed up' execution verdicts

Iran's judiciary chief Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei urged courts to expedite verdicts related to the US-Israeli war, including capital punishment. Since the war began on February 28, seven people have been executed in connection with January protests, including members of the banned MEK opposition group. Rights groups warn that many more are at risk of execution after being arrested for allegedly aiding the enemy during the ongoing conflict.
